Drawing

Vine (willow) charcoal – buy at least 10 sticks

Kneed gum eraser (soft eraser) – buy at least 2

Paper stump – small, medium & big

Fan brush – size 8

Charcoal paper pad – Size A2 at least

Painting

Oil paints – black, white, cad yellow, lemon yellow, cad red, vermilion, cobalt blue, ultramarine blue

Cold press linseed oil

Painting pallet (large size wood pallet) – do not use paper disposable one

Bristol Brush (Winsor & Newton) – flat tip – size 6, 8, 10, 12 – 2 each

Small container for dipping oil

White spirit (Winsor & Newton) – big bottle – for mixing with oil

Big jar for washing brushes

Big bottle of white spirit from ironmonger (hardware store) for cleaning brushes – you will wash them with water & soap at home

Canvas or canvas board (at least size A2)
